We have one educator and one portable, but I've gone out as an emergency backup before. We're also in the "schedule us and we'll come" camp, and have been mucking our way through some similar situations. 1. We don't really have a cap. This is our...

Yeah, I thought the other Mike (the younger) that I worked with had an even stranger last name than Smail. How many Mikes can there be in one organization of that size? Geez, guys!

Were you one of the two Mikes I worked with at COSI as a volunteer in summer 2002? When my boyfriend (now husband) got West Nile? Been a while!

Yep. And using the DS2 scripting language you should be able to output an image sequence at the larger resolution in this fashion.

I remember that I could not get it to output anything larger than the resolution of my desktop. But I got around that by shifting the center of the starfield on the screen. In that way, I piecemealed a large, say 4096x4096, starfield down into smaller sections. After outputting all the sections, I put back together them together in Photoshop. Hooray for Photoshop Actions and Batch processes!

By the way, nice avatar. I recently got the idea to make a 8-bit self portrait. If I ever do, I will replace my current image.

Hi Mike! Hope all is well over on the daytime side of the Earth. Still working out how to justify an all-expenses paid visit to you guys...!

Hi Mike,

Enjoyed meeting you at SEPA and getting a chance to see the facility at Baton Rouge. Thanks for showing us around. Maybe IPS will be there in 2012!
