If you work(ed) in a planetarium, which one?
Miami Space Transit Planetarium
About Me:
I started working at the Miami Space Transit Planetarium as a volunteer seating attendant at 14, was hired to do public shows on the weekends at 15 and worked there regularly until I left for college in 1988. I received my BS in Astronomy from UF in 1992 and have recently been hired as the Planetarium Coordinator of the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College.
Thank you for your kind words in support of our Planetarium Projector Museum. I envy you your time with the Spitz STP and now with the Chronos. Thanks again, Owen -
Oh, and to all on the CHRONOS list, please remember that I'm based in Hawaii. And tonight, Hawaii is towed one time zone closer to the mainalnd..... that is, since Hawaii is in the tropics, we don't mess going on or off Daylight Savings Time - ever. So now for the next few months I'm 2 hours behind the Paciifc time zone, 5 hours behind Eastern, etc. When it doubt, just call me in your afternoon or evening, and I'll be fine. But since my office is in my house, please don't call early in your morning!
Thanks,
Ken
Greetings from Ken MIller. I'm the GOTO USA representative who sold Sture on the CHRONOS system some years back. We at GOTO wish you well in your new post, and offer any help we can give as you settle in. When you have a chance, please give me a call at my toll-free number, 888-847-5800 and ask me a bunch of questions! Or at least I'd like to get to know you and any challenges I might be able to help with. In the meantime, I hope you're having some fun with the CHRONOS!
